This hand crafted, off-grid retreat features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Outside, you can unwind by the stone circle, relax in the outdoor bath, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the fire pit.
The comfortable double bed sits high giving you lovely views across the fields and fells beyond. Additional heating is supplied with a separate heating system to keep you warm at night.
The cabin can be found on the North Eastern edge (2.5 Miles / 5 Minutes Drive) of the Lake District National Park with great access to fantastic walking, Keswick, Ullswater and beyond.
The cabin has a selection of books and hand made games to keep you entertained. This is very much a secluded log cabin designed with low power consumption in mind, there is no WIFI but most Mobile phone networks receive 4G/5G reception (4G/5G available via O2/Vodafone) so you will be able to hotspot from your phone if you require internet access, Vodafone and o2 works best.
We love well-behaved dogs! We just ask you to keep them under control if other guests are on-site.

The Herdvyck is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, within five minutes walking distance of Greystoke Village. The village offers a well-stocked shop, pub, and even an outdoor heated swimming pool.
Ullswater (6 Miles), Keswick (13 Miles), and Penrith (5 Miles) are all within easy reach. The Cabins are 10 minutes from the M6 and the West Coast Main Line Railway (Penrith North Lakes station).
From M6 exit 40, take the A66 to Keswick. After 2 miles, follow signs for Greystoke. Once in the village, turn right at the monument toward Johnby.
Follow the road until it forks; take the left turning to Johnby. The Cabins are situated in the field North of the third house on the left. Enter through the opening and park behind the cabins.
The Boot & Shoe in Greystoke is a charming short walk away, offering high-quality pub meals. For a wider selection, the market town of Penrith features various independent bistros and cafés.
We are perfectly positioned for the Northern Fells. Challenge yourself with a hike up Blencathra or enjoy the incredible scenery surrounding Ullswater (6 miles away).
Don't miss the Greystoke Outdoor Heated Pool during the summer months, or explore local heritage through "Quirky Workshops" held in the heart of the village.
Head to Pooley Bridge to board the famous Ullswater Steamers, or rent a rowboat to enjoy one of the most beautiful lakes in the UK at your own pace.
